Confession time… The person who can do the most building up of my soul is also the person who can do the most damage to my soul. Can I get an AMEN from any person who has a healthy and even not so healthy marriage? John Maxwell in How Successful People Think caught up how the writer of Proverbs who knew that very factor when he wrote when sharp people sharpen one another. My wife sharpens me daily in more ways than I can count. Now she can also pierce me if she really wants to. I am glad that she chooses to sharpen me. I must choose to do more of that with her in return. That is something I must consciously remember to do not always through my words, though that is extremely important, but through my nonverbal responses and tonal quality of what I do say. For communication is not always just in words. In another way of looking at this idea, I have heard it said you are the amalgamation of the top five people you hang out with the most. Choose those people well. If you are the smartest of the top five people you hang out with, you had best get sharper, wiser, more astute, intellectual, or charismatic acquaintances! I can say that I have associations of people in which I am not the smartest nut on the block. I am thankful for that. I may be one who can use words better than others but that doesn’t mean I am smarter than others. It just means I am more literate than others. Some say that is an advantage while others say a disadvantage. Potato or Potahtoe? You get what I mean. My point is this. In marriage, your wife or your husband can be the one that sharpens you the most or pierces you the most. Be careful to use your tongue correctly especially as a spouse. My second point, pick your close associates very carefully because if they are not wise, you won’t be wise either! It’s a proven fact! #marriagetip #communicationstip #mastershandcoach #howsucceesspeoplethink #johnmaxwell #johnmaxwellquote #wiseassociations #wisesayings #successquote #successfulthinking #marriagecoach #lifecoach

Can I tell you a fun fact about my wife? I am pretty sure she will be okay with it. After all, it’s a weakness of mine that she is good at, and I am thankful for it. When I married her, I was blessed by her having this quality. Those of you who are married will know what I mean very shortly and those of you longing to be married will get it readily, I am sure. Without further a due… Let’s begin with a hand raising exercise. Put both hands in the air if you have heard of the idea that when you get married you marry your opposite in personality? For instance, one likes the toilet seat up and the other likes it down. That’s true in this family here. Keep your hands up if agree with that you have heard that. Now keep them up if you have heard that you marry your same strengths in every sense of the word—you have the same exact strengths! Why do I see you putting your hands down? You mean you don’t usually marry a person with your same strengths? I certainly didn’t. That would have been really boring to me. Now here is where you may think I am really nuts or you may relate with me based on your personality! Before I married Shanon, she was my trainer at a job. While training me, I got to know her strengths and weaknesses. I was engaged to another woman so I had no interest in Shanon other than as a good friend and co-worker. But as such, I wanted to know Shanon’s strengths from her strength’s finder profile as we talked about personality things together because we both liked talking about such things. Months after my other relationship broke up and Shanon and I decided to pursue a relationship with each other, I knew what she was good at, and she knew my strengths at least from a profile perspective. On my end, I was thrilled by that, and I am pretty sure on Shanon’s end she liked it as well. To this day, we like each other’s strengths and are still figuring out how to leverage them the best for our future endeavors personally and professionally. Sometimes we fail—imagine that! Sometimes we learn! That sounds like a book I know of. Stay tuned for more on that one. Shanon is my ideation queen and I know that full well. If I need ideas about something, I go to her. People with ideation are exceptionally fascinated by ideas. They find connections between seemingly disparate phenomena. She is amazing at coming up with ways to make things food wise, creative wise, mentally wise, marketing wise, art wise, and putting some what might be random details together that I might not catch being detailed oriented and more methodical in my approaches to rationality. Right there, we need each other to balance each other, and we married someone who can balance us out if we let each other balance us out and not argue about it. Therein lies the key to a healthy and happy home—what initially attracted us to each other must not be what drives us nuts years into our marriage. To that end of not letting what attracted us to each other be what drives us apart, we seek to put good things into each other and help one another focus our minds on things above and not on things below. We seek to push one another to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy, and so much the more as we see the days approaching when we give an accounting of everything we do here on this earth. We know that as a couple we want our message to be that which admonishes on another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts. And whatever we do whether in word or dead, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:16-17). In doing that, we prime our pump for good ideas. We encourage you to do the same thing! Let me know how I can help you be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most to you, your front door! In doing that l provide HOPE in faith, family and freedom! Sincerely, Dustin DeBoer of Master’s Hand Coach.

Relationships can be tricky, but the best ones to have are those that benefit all parties involved. When we refocus the lens in which we view a situation, and we not only see what we are contributing, but also what we are gaining, gratitude follows. This allows us to be thankful for what we are privileged to contribute and blesses us with the opportunity to add to the wholeness of another living being.

May I ask you a question? What is the most valuable thing you have? Thinking is hard work but if you think too hard about this you may have to rethink it! You have something that is priceless and you may not realize it! The real question is do you mine it? For it is like gold! It needs to be mined for its real value which is priceless!

I have a novel marriage concept to share. Will you permit me to share it with you? My wife and I are reading a book together and it happens to be a success book that stands the test of time. This is a book that I have read several times before, but this is the first time that we are reading it together. Its author wrote this book after taking 25 years to study thousands of people of his day who were overtly successful. He was in a sense commissioned by one of the elite successful people of his day to study the people but without initial pay. Nothing up front at all to do so. He would have to pay his way through the study but what he would come out with is a masterplan that if followed would yield him great riches. It certainly did that and more. But it started with in-depth study and thinking and interviewing many successful people. Matter of fact, one quote that this author states is the following. “There is something radically wrong with a civilization, and a system of education, which permit 98% of the people to go through life as failures. But I did not write this book for the purpose of moralizing on the rights and wrongs of the world; that would require a book a hundred times the size of this one.” In this book, he outlines what it takes to be successful not just as individuals but also as a marriage and a family. Today’s post from How Successful People Think by John Maxwell quotes Napoleon Hill who wrote Think and Grow Rich, the book that my wife and I are reading. In the first chapter of that book, Thoughts are things, Napoleon Hill says the following. One of the main weaknesses of mankind is the average man’s familiarity with the word “impossible.” He knows all the rules which will not work. He knows all the things which cannot be done. This book was written for those who seek the rules which have made others successful and are willing to stake everything on those rules. Success comes to those who become success conscious. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious. The object of this book is to help all who seek it to learn the art of changing their minds from failure conscious to success consciousness. Another weakness found in altogether too many people is the habit of measuring everything, and everyone, by their own impressions and beliefs. Some persons who read this will believe that they cannot think and grow rich, because their thought habits have been steeped in poverty, want, misery, failure, and defeat. Napoleon Hill Think and Grow Rich Page 9. Wow, powerful words for those who want to have success not just individually but as a family. It recalls the fact that I heard many times over in the business environment I was in. “If you don’t fix it in your generation, you pass it onto the next generation. Stop the generational curse and solve the problems! Break the patterns of curses and change them for the better. You don’t have to live the way your former generations did.” In summary, my wife and I are reading the book, Think and Grow Rich together through one time. Just reading it and talking about what we are reading. We will go back through it as a study with a video mastermind we have access to through the Maxwell Leadership Team and Empowered Living along with the study guide. On top of that, we have a biblical companion guide to reference as well. We are diving in deep to it as we prepare to be more successful ourselves and then be able to share our insights with you. Stay tuned here for our progress. We are mining for our gold, and we will share it with you as we go along and eventually have a mastermind with those who want to be successful. Would you like to join us on a quest to be not just successful but significant? Follow our posts and find out more of what we mean by helping other people excel in faith, family, and freedom so that they can be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, their front door!

Monday can bring different feelings and emotions for various people. For some, it is the beginning of the work week. For others, it is the end of a stressful weekend and time to start again. Today, I challenge you to bring to mind three things that make you unique and special, one thing that blesses you as a person, and one thing that brings you joy. Regardless of the challenge, happiness is internal and recognizing the blessings allows you to share that happiness and positively impact the lives of those around you.

Will you permit me to be the master statement of the obvious for the next few minutes? It will require some thinking so don’t say I didn’t warn you. It won’t hurt too much I promise. That is unless you let it. If you are open to it, it will sink in. We are headed into the last month of the year. It is not that far away anymore and in that last month of the year comes a chance to evaluate the whole of the year based upon whatever criteria you have sought to evaluate your 2023 with. Last night my wife and I were enjoying some time together reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. We are in the beginning of chapter eight—Decision. I personally have read this book many times before and have been through several studies of it with others. This is the first time that my wife and I have gone through it just the two of us together. I personally am enjoying going through it immensely with my wife as I get to hear her insights firsthand which are many. It is very interesting how when we sit together reading and then discussing the contents of the book, our hearts, minds, and souls grow closer. I am sure this will keep happening the more we read not only this book but others also. Now why do I correlate that the with the preface of evaluating where you are at the end of the year? Two reasons. 1. I set out this year to grow closer to my wife through reading and discussing books that I have read many times over and that I wanted to read with her. Think and Grow Rich is just one of the books as a starter book. I am so grateful that the Lord allowed that to come to fruition in the manner in which it came to fruition! Praise His holy name! This is literally music to my ears to have her read the book to me and then discuss it with me even though it is hard to stay awake at night when I am a morning person. 2. Evaluation is something we must all do or risk losing our very lives to a life of aimlessness which means you will hit it all the time—nothingness! Who truly wants that! Thinking is truly hard work, but the hard work is worth it. It’s been worth it here in America ever since the fifty-six people signed their death certificate. They were willing to go to the gallows for our opportunity to be free from the rule of Brittan. Jesus did hang for our freedom not from Brittan but from all our wrong doings. Do not think for any one second that it was easy on Him either. We know it was not, but He was willing to endure it as He knew it was what He had to endure to show us He loved us. In summary, thinking is hard work. But the results of thinking are worth it. Be like the men who signed that document. For they realized that in signing that document they were setting others free. Take courage my friends and evaluate your life this next month considering your family values and what you truly stand for. If you need help with that process or maybe have never gone through that and want some family coaching along those lines, reach out to me today! I would be honored to work with you and your family to help you and others to truly be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, your front door!

May I share a story with you? When I think back to my younger years, I can honestly say that there were many times when I was picked on for thinking what I did. It was harder to take the higher road as a student than those around me. There were times I had to take a hard stance for the truth of the situation rather than let lies swirl about. Only a couple a couple of times did I have to physically fight for the truth because in those times, those who wanted to fight found out that I could defend myself and then be backed up by those in greater authority because I was in the right. Bullying is a real thing no matter generation it is in. It just appears in different manifestations, and it is wrong. The Maxwell Leadership Team has a Global Youth Initiative that I have participated with in which we seek to build positive youth leadership development. Nick Vujicic has partnered with us and as such takes a great stand with his curriculum on this. This along with the Maxwell Foundation’s youth materials help build a strong and verbose youth program that I have used in my coaching with youth to help them be a REAL SUCCESS on the stage of life that matters most, their front door. If you are looking for a youth development coach for your organization that can come and deliver a presentation on various youth topics from bullying to character development to racism to self-respect, to peer pressure, to academic problems, social media, and more, reach out to me today to set up such an opportunity as I am also a certified public speaker! I would welcome the opportunity to impact the next generation.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This is a time for connection and love, for sharing what we have with others, for building and rebuilding our family bonds. But as wonderful as it sounds, it isn't always easy. Many, if not most, of us experience tensions in our families, be it between brothers and sisters, parents and children, or husbands and wives. Such situations often make it harder to enjoy this wonderful holiday time. But there's a way to change that! I invite you that today you shift from being judgmental to being curious. Why is this person you're having a hard time connecting with behaving the way they do? Is there any potential reason for it that would make sense to you? What are they actually trying to say? The change won't happen in one day, but it can begin today. And if you need support, simply reach out. I'm here for you 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving 2023! To all who stop by my profile today and in the future to check out what it is that I stand for to see if you would like to have me as your coach, I am grateful that you stopped by. Why? I am a person who does the same thing as you. I want to know about a person before I meet with them. I want to know what they stand for--their values, ethics, and perspectives on certain fundamental aspects to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I want to make sure those things align with mine and I am grateful that you have done your due diligence or that you realize this is the perspective that I am coming from and that you want that perspective. I am so grateful for this republic that I live in here in America. I am a Christian and as such I bring that perspective to my coaching. I was raised with a conservative theological perspective and trained in a conservative theological college as a youth pastor. I look at scripture through an evangelical perspective and have put into practice many spiritual disciplines throughout my life. I cannot go without them, and I am grateful for the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life through them. The Holy Spirit has brought me through so many incredible experiences that since writing my book Relax, Reflect and Rejuvenate, The Story of Solid Rock Photography, I could write a sequel let alone what is written in it. On top of the rich theology and the Holy Spirit, I also incorporate the aspects of psychology that I feel filter through my bases of theology and the Holy the Spirit thereby forming my trifecta of my filter with which I help other people excel in faith, family, and freedom so that they can be a REAL SUCCESS on the stage of life that matters most, their front door. To quote a Gaither Homecoming song that Shanon and I listen to often, I am “greatly blessed and highly favored!” (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=greatly+blessed+highly+favored&t=osx&iax=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DuAXATqOcwao&ia=videos) to have grown up like I did in a small town in Minnesota with a mom and dad who were committed to Christ and who wanted to raise their children to follow Christ. I am carrying on that tradition with Shanon. She also had a strong tradition to do that and together if we have children will raise our children to do so. On this day, November 23, 2023, here in America, it is Thanksgiving. While I am thankful today, I will be thankful and grateful tomorrow also and the next and the next. I will hold to my trifecta approach to my coaching because of my family history and because of my extensive training. I look forward to working with you once again to help you and other people excel in faith, family, and freedom so that you can be a REAL SUCCESS on the stage of life that matters most, your front door!

May I ask you a question....... If you want to be successful as a person or a family, you must have a as Napoleon Hill talks about in his masterpiece, Think and Grow Rich, a "definitiveness of purpose--the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it." I have for a long time stated the following. Receiving is reserved for those who seek it. Matthew 7:7 states, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." You will not have if you do not seek. It's pure and simple. But what are you seeking? You can seek good or you can seek evil and you will find it if you seek it. The reality is you are seeking one or the other because evil will find you if you are not seeking good. Left to your own devices, you will follow your nature that you are born with. Yes, we have made improvements in many regards, but as a whole, there is nothing new under the sun! history repeats itself time and time again. Which is why I again ask you, will you choose to become a better thinker and think on things that are right, just, proper, and lovely, of good report and or admirable? It's your choice! And when you think of such things, good things often keep coming your way. Why is this the case? Because a well defined purpose in life brings hope for success! Napoleon Hill said that ninety eight out of every hundred of those whose he analyzed had nos such well-defined purpose in life. They didn't show a desire to get above mediocrity. They lacked self-discipline. They had ill health. They had unfavorable environmental influences during childhood. He goes on to list a total of thirty one major cause of failure in people with number 2 being the lack of well-defined purpose. I can help you discover your purpose and life it out. This will not only affect you but those closest to you--your family. That is why I believe in helping other people excel in faith, family and freedom so that they can be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, your front door! Let me know how I can help you today be that relational leader that is equipped with an attitude of gratitude based on time tested principles that lead yourself and those around to to not just success but significance! I am available by appointments and here at MeetCoach! Message me today!

Thought for the morning. What if we assumed everybody that we encountered had good intentions regardless of their actions? How would it change your day if you assumed everyone was doing the absolute best that they could with what they had to work with in that moment? Would it make your day easier? Would you interact with people differently? Would it bring you more joy in the moment?

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction. Proverbs 29:18 This morning's thought for the family to succeed is two fold. 1. When I was interested in dating Shanon I told her that wanted to be serious about it. I didn't date to just have fun but to find the person I wanted to marry. She knew I had been engaged before and that relationship didn't work out. So in order to date her I wanted to be serious. That lead us to developing what eventually became our DeBoer Family Crest--a vision of what we wanted to be known for. This was something that we could use to guide our thinking around that in turn would help us be successful as a couple. 2. This vision also allows us to develop the Law of the Picture from the 21 Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell. Within that law is the idea that who you are is who you attract. That in turn says that you must be an example to people of leadership and specifically in my case, family leadership. One must who a proper attitude as Proverbs 29:2 states as that is when people rejoice! In verse four, when moral people rule, there is justice in a family. Verse 7, good leaders have concern for the everyone in the family unit! Verse 12, if the leader pays attention to lies, so goes the rest of the family. A family can be turned around and be successful. I believe in helping other people excel in faith, family and freedom so they can be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, their front door. I will be available throughout the day and you can always message me to set up a time to meet with me individually. I have many different assessment tools to help you and your family achieve your goals. I look forward to working with you and your family! Sincerely, Dustin DeBoer

The way we view life is a choice. Sometimes it feels like we are in a situation that is almost impossible to navigate, but even in the toughest moments we can make a choice and a difference. We can choose to breathe, to give thanks, to forgive, to move forward, to reflect, to smile, and to love. How do you choose to perceive and respond in this moment, day, and time in your life?

It is one thing to be successful. It is another to be significant. I choose to be significant and make a difference in our world and help other people excel in faith, family and freedom so that they can be a REAL Success on the stage of life the matters most, their front door! I choose to help people develop authentic Relationships that span the generations. One of the things that forms a prosperous nation is families that have multiple generations in them which get along. I seek to help build not only families that do that, but multi-generational teams do that also--business, ministry, school, and other teams that want to be high performance team. I am a DISC Trainer and I love helping people understand how to be better at leveraging the personalities to be a high functioning team. Secondly, I love equipping the individuals within the team to have more self-awareness of how to use their strengths to their best advantage. Each of us are uniquely wired to perform and bring out God's glory to the world in a wonderful tapestry just as the stars shine at night. When we do so in harmony, we make beautiful patterns that radiate light to a world that so desperately needs it. I love helping people radiate that light effectively. By helping them increase their self-awareness, that light gets brighter. DISC Assessments bring out that light in unique ways. Contact me for more information about how I can help in that manor. Third, I help others develop their Attitude of gratitude through introducing them to time tested principles through webinars, masterminds, individual, group coaching, pre-marriage and marriage coaching, and family and parenting coaching that will, fourth Lead them to transformation of themselves and those around them to a life of not just success but significance. This is done one person at a time and one family at a time which then turns one community at a time, one city at a time, one state at a time and one region at a time, and one nation at time much like John Maxwell talked about in Change Your World through the eight streams of influence in society! What an opportunity lies before me! It is to that end of a vision I reach for. Much like John Maxwell has said in many of his books, this is not something I just do for a living, it's a calling. I will never retire from this. If you are looking for someone who has a passion for this type of aspiration as your coach, then reach out to me. I look forward to helping you be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, YOUR FRONT DOOR! If you want to set up a time to meet with me, just message me and we can work that out as well! I look forward to working with you! Sincerely, Dustin DeBoer

Today I am well aware of myself and the goals I have for the day. I am aware of my limitations and my own faults. I am aware of strengths and motivations for doing what I need to do. But I will judge myself at the end of the day by what I get done because of several things--personality and my strong nature of being task oriented versus being people oriented. But yet I know my needs to connect with others. I additionally know my need to make effective decisions that move my life forward. I will make these efforts today to accomplish all that is on my list with the motive of a steward who has but one life to live to bring God's glory to this world in dire need of that glory. I will connect with people wherever I am doing whatever I have to do. and I will not seek to judge those I meet by just their actions. This is my commitment! What is your's today? Reach out to me today if I can help you work through your goals, motives, intentions, values, life map, DISC profile (for individuals or team building or families: spouses or youth), Career Code, SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts Pre-Marriage or Marriage Assessment), as I seek to help other people excel in faith, family and freedom so they can be a REAL success on the stage of life that matters most, their front door. Here at Master's Hand Coaching, we are just like a master musician that "may cause the most beautiful strains of music to pour forth from the strings of a violin." We do this "so that you may arouse the genius which lies asleep in your brain, and cause it to drive you upward to whatever goal you may wish to achieve" (Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich, 1960).

My wife and I made it through it in 21! It hit her harder as I had more vitamins and supplements in me that helped me overcome it quicker than she did. I believe in really good supplementation to help over come illnesses and to stay healthy also!

I am glad you made it through that virus!

Your natural talents can get you into many places. But, consistency will keep you there - perpetually unlocking more opportunities for positive growth. Check Out These Five Apps to Increase Your Consistency: Trello: This visual project management tool can be adapted for creating schedules. You can create boards for different subjects or tasks, make to-do lists, and move tasks between columns as you progress. Forest: If you find yourself easily distracted by your phone or other digital devices, Forest can help. It's a productivity app that encourages you to stay focused by planting virtual trees. If you leave the app, your tree dies, motivating you to concentrate more. Focus Booster: This is a timer app that helps you break work sessions into intervals with short breaks in between. This technique can boost productivity and help you stick to a schedule. Clockify: This time tracking app can help you analyze and improve how you spend your time. By tracking your study sessions and other activities, you can better allocate your time to tasks that matter most. "Study With Me" YouTube Channels: There are several YouTube channels dedicated to productivity, where you can virtually work alongside others. These videos can provide a sense of community and motivation to stick to your schedule.

According to a 2022 Gallup Report, the majority of workers across the globe have developed negative emotions about their workplaces. I am no longer in that majority, and you don't have to be either! Give yourself enough grace and time to do the work.
